FOXQ1 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects FOXQ1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FOXQ1 plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in the regulation of gene expression during embryogenesis and in specific adult tissues, including the stomach, trachea, bladder, and salivary gland. FOXQ1 is involved in the development of lymphocytes, as evidenced by the phenotypic characteristics of satin homozygous mice, which exhibit defects in hair shaft differentiation and compromised immune function. Notably, FOXQ1 is overexpressed in colorectal adenocarcinoma and lung carcinoma cell lines, highlighting its potential role in cancer progression. FOXQ1′s structure, characterized by a winged-helix or forkhead domain, is essential for DNA-binding capabilities, allowing regulation of target genes critical for development and cellular function. Anti-FOXQ1 antibody (B-4) is an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the intricate roles of FOXQ1 in development, cancer, and immune response.
