Cdc25A Antibody (DCS-124) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Cdc25A in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cdc25A plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from G2 phase to mitosis, by acting as a phosphatase that dephosphorylates and activates the cyclin-dependent kinase Cdc2. This activation is essential for the proper progression of mitosis, as it allows the cell to enter the mitotic phase at the right time, ensuring accurate chromosome segregation and cell division.
