Cdc25A Antibody (DCS-122) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Cdc25A in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cdc25A plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from G2 phase to mitosis, by acting as a phosphatase that dephosphorylates and activates the cyclin-dependent kinase Cdc2. This activation is essential for the proper progression of mitosis, as it allows the cell to enter the mitotic phase and ensures accurate chromosome segregation. Dysregulation of Cdc25A can lead to uncontrolled cell division and has been implicated in various cancers, making Cdc25A a significant target for therapeutic intervention.
