BNIP-3 Antibody (ANa40) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect BNIP-3, also known as NIP3, across mouse, rat, and human species using western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF) techniques. BNIP-3 monoclonal antibody (ANa40) targets the amino acids 1-163 region of the human BNIP-3 protein, ensuring precise binding and robust performance in various experimental settings. BNIP-3 is a critical member of the Bcl-2 family of proteins, which are essential regulators of apoptosis, the programmed cell death process vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and eliminating damaged or unwanted cells. By interacting with Bcl-xL, BNIP-3 suppresses its anti-apoptotic activity, thereby promoting apoptosis, which is crucial in developmental processes, immune responses, and the prevention of cancerous growths. Understanding BNIP-3′s function is important for research into diseases where apoptosis is disrupted, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Anti-BNIP-3 antibody (ANa40) is available in both non-conjugated form and multiple conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing flexibility for diverse experimental applications. BNIP-3 monoclonal antibody (ANa40) cross-reacts with BNIP-3 from different species, making this antibody a versatile tool for comparative studies and translational research.
