ACTR5 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ACTR5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ACTR5 (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ACTR5, also known as actin-related protein 5 or INO80M, consists of 607 amino acids and is a crucial component of the INO80 chromatin remodeling complex, which plays a significant role in gene expression regulation. ACTR5′s ability to interact with other actin-related proteins is vital for function in transcriptional regulation, as ACTR5 helps remodel chromatin structure, thereby influencing DNA accessibility to transcription factors and other regulatory proteins. The gene encoding ACTR5 is located on chromosome 20, which comprises approximately 2% of the human genome and contains over 600 genes associated with various diseases, including Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Understanding ACTR5′s function and interactions is essential for elucidating roles in cellular processes and potential implications in disease mechanisms.
