Datasheets
  • T-FABP Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 20-39 of T-FABP of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of T-FABP of mouse and rat origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for T-FABP Antibody (D-8) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with T-FABP Antibody (D-8) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

T-FABP Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects T-FABP in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). T-FABP, also known as PERF, FABP9, or PERF15, is a member of the fatty acid-binding protein family and is specifically expressed in testicular germ cells during spermatogenesis, playing a crucial role in germ cell development. T-FABP (D-8) antibody enables detection of T-FABP in the testis, suggesting a specialized function in the transport and metabolism of fatty acids, which are vital for the energy needs and membrane synthesis of developing sperm cells. By facilitating the uptake and intracellular transport of fatty acids, T-FABP contributes to the overall lipid homeostasis necessary for proper spermatogenesis, highlighting its significance in male fertility. Anti-T-FABP antibody (D-8) provides a reliable tool for researchers investigating the role of fatty acid-binding proteins in reproductive biology and related fields.
