    SEE ALSO...

SIT Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SIT protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SIT (F-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SIT protein, known as SHP2 interacting transmembrane adaptor protein, plays a crucial role in T lymphocyte signaling by acting as a disulfide-linked homodimeric glycoprotein that facilitates the recruitment of SH2 domain-containing intracellular signaling molecules to the plasma membrane through tyrosine-based signaling pathways. SIT presence in lymphocytes is vital for effective immune responses, as SIT contains five potential tyrosine phosphorylation sites that indicate involvement in T cell receptor-mediated signaling. Additionally, SIT interacts with key proteins such as SHP2 and the adaptor protein Grb2, and serves as a substrate for Src family kinases, including Fyn, Lck, and ZAP-70, highlighting SIT importance in modulating T cell activation and function.
