QUICK LINKS

SIRT2 Inhibitor, Inactive Control, also known as AGK7, is a cell-permeable structural isomer of SIRT2 (sirtuin 2) Inhibitor, AGK2 (sc-202813) that selectively inhibits SIRT3 over SIRT1 and SIRT2 (IC50 = >5 muM, >50 muM and >50 muM for SIRT3, SIRT1 and SIRT2, respectively). SIRT2 Inhibitor, Inactive Control poorly affects both alpha-synuclein-mediated toxicity and alpha-Syn aggregation in alpha-Syn-H4 cells. It is also an inhibitor of SIRT1 (sirtuin 1) and SIRT3 (sirtuin 3). In catalysis, it exhibits high activity and selectivity in various reactions such as oxidation, reduction, and cross-coupling reactions. In gas storage, the compound has a high adsorption capacity for gases such as hydrogen, methane, and carbon dioxide.
