PTH Antibody (D1.5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects parathyroid hormone (PTH) in human, bovine, and canine samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. PTH is a crucial 84 amino acid peptide that plays a vital role in regulating calcium metabolism by increasing blood calcium levels through multiple mechanisms, such as stimulating bone formation, which enhances bone mass and strength in both rats and humans.
