    SEE ALSO...

PEBP2β Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects PEBP2β in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PEBP2β, also known as Core Binding Factor β (CBFβ), plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression during hematopoiesis and osteogenesis by forming a heterodimer with the PEBP2α subunit, which is essential for DNA binding and transcriptional activation. The interaction between PEBP2β and PEBP2α is vital for proper functioning of the transcription factor complex, as PEBP2β stabilizes the α subunit and enhances DNA affinity. Disruption of this interaction can lead to severe developmental consequences, including impaired blood cell formation and embryonic lethality due to hemorrhagic events in the central nervous system. Additionally, PEBP2β is implicated in certain leukemias, particularly acute myeloid leukemia, where chromosomal abnormalities can result in fusion proteins that disrupt normal hematopoietic processes. Anti-PEBP2β antibody (H-10) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying molecular mechanisms underlying these critical biological processes and their implications in disease.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-166126 X be used instead of the standard form sc-166126?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
