p-p40-phox Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Threonine 154 phosphorylated p40-phox in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-p40-phox antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p40-phox plays a crucial role in the activation of the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase complex, which is essential for the production of reactive oxygen species during the immune response. p40-phox is primarily located in the cytosol and translocates to the membrane upon cell activation, where p40-phox interacts with other cytosolic components such as p47-phox and p67-phox, as well as the small GTP-binding protein Rac, to form a functional oxidase complex.
