SEE ALSO...

Nurr1 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect Nurr1, also known as NR4A2 or Nur-related factor 1, across mouse, rat, and human species through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) applications. Nurr1 monoclonal antibody (F-5) is raised against amino acids 66-262 of the mouse Nurr1 protein, ensuring precise binding to a critical region near the N-terminus. Nurr1 (F-5) antibody recognizes a nuclear receptor localized within the cell nucleus, where Nurr1 functions as a transcription factor regulating genes essential for neuronal development, the maintenance of dopaminergic neurons, and immune responses. Nuclear localization of Nurr1 is pivotal for modulating gene expression involved in neurological disorders such as Parkinson′s disease, as well as in inflammatory and immune-related conditions. anti-Nurr1 antibody (F-5) facilitates reliable detection and analysis of Nurr1 expression and activity, making this reagent an indispensable tool for researchers investigating molecular mechanisms underlying critical biological processes. Nurr1 (F-5) monoclonal antibody supports advanced studies in gene regulation and cellular function, contributing to breakthroughs in both basic and applied biomedical research. Nurr1 monoclonal antibody (F-5) ensures accurate and consistent results, enhancing understanding of nuclear receptor roles in health and disease. Available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants, anti-Nurr1 antibody (F-5) offers versatility for diverse experimental setups.

Is this antibody suitable for ChIP with magnetic beads? Thank you.

Asked by: La_B
Thank you for your question. We are not aware of any publications citing use of this Nurr1 Antibody (F-5): sc-376984 for chromatin immunoprecipitation or ChIP. However, we do offer a more concentrated version of the antibody, TransCruz reagent that is warrantied for use in a ChIP application (sc-376984 X, 200 µg/0.1 ml). If you purchase the antibody and it does not work for you in ChIP, then please contact our Technical Service Department and we can assist you with troubleshooting the antibody, or offering you a replacement or a refund.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-376984 X be used instead of the standard form sc-376984?

Asked by: jenni
Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
