    SEE ALSO...

MYBPC1 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MYBPC1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MYBPC1 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MYBPC1, also known as myosin-binding protein C, slow-type or MyBP-C, is a crucial 1,141 amino acid protein characterized by three fibronectin type-III domains and seven immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains. MYBPC1 is primarily located in the striated muscle bands of vertebrates, where MYBPC1 plays a vital role in muscle contraction by interacting with myosin and modulating the activity of specific ATPases. The structural integrity and function of MYBPC1 are essential for maintaining proper muscle function, and mutations in MYBPC1 can lead to various cardiac and skeletal muscle disorders. MYBPC1 is encoded on human chromosome 12, a region associated with numerous genetic conditions, including hypochondrogenesis and Noonan syndrome, highlighting MYBPC1′s importance in both health and disease.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with MYBPC1 (E-6): sc-515407?

    Asked by: TinTin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
