MAN2A1 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MAN2A1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MAN2A1 (D-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MAN2A1, also known as mannosidase alpha class 2A member 1, is a crucial single-pass type II membrane protein that resides in the cisternae of the Golgi apparatus, where MAN2A1 plays a vital role in glycoprotein modification. Specifically, MAN2A1 is involved in N-glycan processing, catalyzing the hydrolysis of terminal alpha-D-mannose residues in the oligosaccharide Man5(GlcNAc)3, a critical step in glycoprotein maturation.
