Could I please have the exact sequence of the epitope this antobody maps to? I want to make sure it is not recognizing another protein in a co-IP experiment.

Since sc-711 has been discontinued, we recommend a monoclonal alternative insulin Rβ (CT-3): sc-57342. Does anyone have success doing IP with this antibody? I would like to IP-IRbeta and do a WB with phosphotyrosine. Please suggest buffers and amount of Ab and beads used.

Thank you for your question. Yes, this antibody, sc-711: Insulin R beta (C-19), is very popular for use in immunoprecipitation (IP). There are at least 65 product citations on our website using the antibody in IP or IP/WB applications.
