- spécifique d'un épitope situé entre les acides aminés 755-781 au niveau C-terminus de β-catenin d'origine human
- recommandé pour la détection de β-catenin d'origine mouse, rat, human et avian par WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) et ELISA; également réactif avec d'autres espèces, dont et equine, canine, bovine, porcine and avian
- Voir beta-catenin (E-5): sc-7963 pour d'autres anticorps conjugués beta-catenin, dont AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 et 790.
- m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG2a BP-HRP et m-IgGκ BP-HRP sont les réactifs secondaires recommandés pour la détection de l'anticorps beta-catenin (H-2) pour des applications de WB and IHC(P). Ces réactifs sont maintenant proposés en kit avec l'anticorps beta-catenin (H-2) (voir Informations pour la commande ci-dessous).

The catenins, α, β and γ, are proteins which bind to the highly conserved, intracellular cytoplasmic tail of E-cadherin. Together, the catenin/cadherin complexes play an important role mediating cellular adhesion. α-catenin was initially described as an E-cadherin associated protein, and since has been shown to associate with other members of the cadherin family, such as N-cadherin and P-cadherin. β-catenin associates with the cytoplasmic portion of E-cadherin, which is necessary for the function of E-cadherin as an adhesion molecule. β-catenin has also been found in complexes with the tumor suppressor protein APC. γ-catenin, also known as plakoglobin, binds with α-catenin and N-cadherin. It has been shown that the transmembrane phosphatase PTPµ associates with catenin/cadherin complexes and may regulate complex signaling.
