Ly-49D Activators comprise a range of molecules and cytokines that indirectly enhance the functional activity of Ly-49D, primarily through their roles in modulating natural killer (NK) cell functions and immune responses. Key cytokines in this process include Interleukin-2 (IL-2), Interleukin-15 (IL-15), Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), Interleukin-12 (IL-12), and Interleukin-18 (IL-18). IL-2 and IL-15 are vital for NK cell proliferation and function, indirectly impacting Ly-49D's role in immune regulation and cytotoxic response.
