SEE ALSO...

TRAF2 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TRAF2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRAF2 plays a crucial role in mediating tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor signaling, particularly through interaction with TNF receptor 1 (TNF-R1) and TNF receptor 2 (TNF-R2), which are integral to the TNF receptor superfamily. TRAF2 forms heterodimeric complexes with TRAF1 and other associated proteins, facilitating downstream signaling pathways that regulate inflammation, cell survival, and apoptosis. TRAF2 interacts with various signaling molecules, underscoring its role in the immune response and potential implications in diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. The TRAF-C domain of TRAF2 is essential for binding to the cytoplasmic domains of TNF receptors and other proteins, thereby influencing cellular responses to TNF signaling. With broad species reactivity and versatility in applications, anti-TRAF2 antibody (F-4) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying TNF receptor-mediated signaling pathways and their implications in health and disease.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with TRAF2 (F-4): sc-137048 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend fixing cells for 5 minutes in -10°C methanol and allowing to air dry. The full protocol can be viewed here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
