Rexamino is a metabolite of Levamisole. Rexamino follows a sequence of chemical steps. Initially, an aldehyde and an amine react to produce an imine. Subsequently, this imine undergoes cyclization to generate the oxazole ring. Finally, the oxazole ring is reduced with sodium borohydride to yield the target compound.
