Oct-2 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects Oct-2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Oct-2 (H-3) antibody recognizes a protein crucial for regulating gene expression, particularly in the immune system, where Oct-2 is essential for activating immunoglobulin gene transcription in B cells. Oct-2 (H-3) monoclonal antibody targets nuclear-localized Oct-2, which binds to specific DNA sequences to influence gene transcription necessary for B cell development and function. Nuclear localization of Oct-2 enables precise regulation of gene expression in response to cellular signals, ensuring B cells effectively produce antibodies against pathogens. Oct-2 (H-3) antibody detects a protein that interacts with other transcription factors and coactivators, including Oct-1 and OBF1, enhancing regulatory capabilities and orchestrating gene regulation networks required for proper immune responses.
