    SEE ALSO...

Nidogen Antibody (JF4) is a rat monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects Nidogen in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Nidogen, a crucial component of the extracellular matrix, plays a significant role in the structural integrity and function of basement membranes, which are essential for tissue organization and cellular signaling. Anti-Nidogen antibody (JF4) recognizes a vital linker between other extracellular matrix components, such as Laminin and Collagen Type IV, facilitating the assembly and stability of basement membranes. Nidogen′s importance extends to cellular adhesion processes, particularly in mesenchymal peritubular and myoepithelial cells, where Nidogen influences cell behavior in an autocrine manner. Additionally, Nidogen is characterized by a high level of glycosylation, which is critical for interactions with other matrix proteins, enhancing functional versatility. Notably, Nidogen is expressed during embryonic and fetal development, specifically in fully developed basement membranes of the ectoderm, highlighting an essential role in early tissue formation and development. Nidogen (JF4) antibody serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of extracellular matrix interactions and their implications in developmental biology and tissue engineering.
