MCM6 Antibody (1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MCM6 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). MCM6, a member of the mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) protein family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of DNA replication, ensuring that DNA is replicated only once during each cell cycle. This regulation is vital for maintaining genomic stability, as improper replication can lead to mutations and cancer. MCM6, along with MCM2, MCM3, MCM4, MCM5, and MCM7, forms a complex that exhibits helicase activity, essential for unwinding DNA strands during replication.
