ILK Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects integrin-linked kinase (ILK) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ILK antibody (E-2) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. Integrin-linked kinase plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and is primarily located at the cell membrane, where ILK interacts with integrins, which are essential for cell adhesion and communication with the extracellular matrix. This localization enables ILK to mediate the transduction of signals that influence various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and migration. ILK interaction with integrins facilitates the assembly of the cytoskeleton and promotes cellular responses to external stimuli, thereby impacting tissue development and repair. ILK has been implicated in tumorigenesis, as expression levels can influence the behavior of cancer cells, making ILK a significant target for research in cancer biology. Anti-ILK antibody (E-2) enables researchers to gain insights into the functional dynamics of ILK and its role in both normal physiology and disease states.
