Hep A Antibody (MK-01) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects the Hep A protein of non-species reactive by western blotting (WB). Anti-Hep A antibody (MK-01) is available as a non-conjugated format, specifically designed to identify the Hepatitis A virus, an enterovirus responsible for causing liver inflammation. Hep A monoclonal antibody (MK-01) targets the Hepatitis A virus, which is primarily transmitted through the orofecal route, often via contaminated food, leading to an acute form of hepatitis characterized by symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, nausea, fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, stomach pain, and vomiting, with only about 75% of infected individuals exhibiting symptoms.
