Diversin Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Diversin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Diversin (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Diversin protein, also known as ANKRD6 (ankyrin repeat domain 6), is a 727 amino acid protein characterized by eight ankyrin repeats, which are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions and serving as adaptors in signaling pathways. Diversin protein is predominantly expressed in the brain during development, highlighting a significant role in brain development and function. Diversin interacts directly with dishevelled (Dvl), a key player in the activation of noncanonical Wnt signaling, through ankyrin repeats. Diversin features a C-terminal domain that binds Axin/Conductin and a central casein kinase-binding domain that specifically interacts with casein kinase Iε, suggesting a role in facilitating canonical Wnt signaling pathways. Three isoforms of Diversin, resulting from alternative splicing, further underscore the complexity and regulatory potential in various cellular contexts.
