SEE ALSO...

APPL2 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects APPL2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). APPL2 (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. APPL2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and trafficking, particularly in epidermal growth factor (EGF) signaling pathways. APPL2 interacts with GTPase Rab 5, facilitating the translocation of signaling complexes from the plasma membrane to the nucleus, where APPL2 associates with chromatin remodeling complexes such as NuRD/MeCP1. This interaction is vital for regulating gene expression and promoting cell growth and proliferation. APPL2 is highly expressed in key tissues, including the heart, brain, skeletal muscle, and kidney, and shares 54% homology with APPL1, underscoring APPL2′s importance in cellular functions. Additionally, APPL2 has been shown to associate with the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor, further highlighting APPL2′s role in reproductive signaling pathways.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works for the most partThis antibody worked for western blot for me at a concentration of 1:500, not 1:1000 as recommended. This signal is still not very strong, but I do see a band ~70 kDa (not 90 kDa like reported by Santa Cruz).
