2,3,4-Tri-O-benzoyl-propofol-β-D-glucuronide Methyl Ester is a Propofol (sc-202774) derivative. Propofol is a phenol derivative that is suggested to modulate the sensitivity of capsaicin (sc-3577) to the transient receptor potential vanilloid subtype-1 (TRPV1) receptor. TRPV1 is a Capsaicin receptor that behaves as a non-selective cation channel that is mainly found in the sensory neurons, and specifically detects painful stimuli, low pH and heat.
