    SEE ALSO...

T-Plastin Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b light chain antibody that detects T-Plastin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). T-Plastin is a member of the plastin family of actin-binding proteins, which play crucial roles in cytoskeletal organization and cellular dynamics. T-Plastin is expressed in a variety of tissues, distinguishing itself from L-Plastin, which is primarily found in hematopoietic cells. T-Plastin′s presence in non-leukocyte tissues suggests involvement in diverse cellular functions, including cell shape maintenance and motility. T-Plastin contains multiple actin-binding domains that facilitate interaction with the cytoskeleton, thereby influencing cellular processes such as migration and adhesion. T-Plastin′s activity regulation through post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation, underscores importance in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in response to external stimuli. Anti-T-Plastin antibody (A-8) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into T-Plastin′s role in various biological contexts, including potential implications in cancer biology and tissue development.
