SNX12 Antibody (42-Y) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SNX12 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SNX12 (42-Y) antibody is available as a non-conjugated format. SNX12, also known as sorting nexin-12, is a 172 amino acid member of the sorting nexin family, which plays a crucial role in intracellular trafficking and endocytosis. SNX12 is characterized by the presence of a phox (PX) domain, a conserved motif essential for phosphoinositide binding and signal transduction, which facilitates the degradation of growth factor receptors and regulates NADPH oxidase activity. The PX domain of SNX12 allows interaction with various receptors and participation in multiple stages of intracellular trafficking, ensuring proper cellular function and communication. SNX12 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in different cellular contexts.
