SENP3 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SENP3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SENP3, a member of the sentrin-specific protease family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of sumoylation, a post-translational modification that influences various cellular processes, including gene expression, DNA repair, and cellular localization of proteins. By reversing the sumoylation of target proteins, SENP3 enhances functional activities, such as the transcriptional and myogenic activities of MEF2, thereby impacting muscle development and regeneration. SENP3 localization to the nucleolus suggests involvement in the regulation of ribosome biogenesis and cell cycle progression, making SENP3 an essential player in maintaining cellular homeostasis.
