RSHL1 Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RSHL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RSHL1 (C-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RSHL1, also known as radial spoke head protein 6 homolog A (RSPH6A), is a 717 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the structure and function of cilia and flagella, which are essential for cellular motility and signaling. Proper functioning of RSHL1 is vital for the assembly of the radial spoke complex, which is necessary for the effective beating of cilia and flagella, thereby influencing processes such as sperm motility and respiratory tract clearance. The gene encoding RSHL1 is located on human chromosome 19q13.32, a region known for its high gene density and association with various genetic disorders, including Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and spinocerebellar ataxia type 6. Using anti-RSHL1 antibody (C-9) in research can provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying ciliary function and its implications in health and disease.
