SEE ALSO...

p38 alpha MAPK14 Antibody (A1F7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody specifically developed to recognize and bind human p38 alpha MAPK14 protein with high precision across multiple applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). p38 alpha MAPK14 monoclonal antibody (A1F7) targets an epitope raised against recombinant human p38, ensuring robust species reactivity and reliable performance in detecting the protein of interest. p38 alpha MAPK14 is a crucial member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family, playing an essential role in converting extracellular signals into appropriate cellular responses. p38 alpha MAPK14 is heavily involved in regulating vital biological processes such as inflammation, cell differentiation, apoptosis, and cellular response to stress stimuli. By phosphorylating specific target proteins in an ATP-dependent manner, p38 alpha MAPK14 modulates key signaling pathways that control cytokine production, cell proliferation, and differentiation. p38 alpha MAPK14 kinase activity is meticulously regulated through phosphorylation at threonine and tyrosine residues, which activates the enzyme and facilitates participation in diverse cellular events. Understanding p38 alpha MAPK14 function and regulation is paramount for elucidating mechanisms underlying various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions. Consequently, anti-p38 alpha MAPK14 antibody (A1F7) serves as a valuable tool for researchers aiming to investigate these critical signaling pathways, advancing our knowledge of cellular mechanisms and contributing to the development of targeted therapies.

Can p38α (A1F7): sc-33688 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. Yes, p38α (A1F7): sc-33688 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
