    LRRTM1 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects LRRTM1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-LRRTM1 antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The leucine-rich repeat transmembrane neuronal 1 (LRRTM1) protein is a 522 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that predominantly localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and features ten leucine-rich repeats, which are critical for structural integrity and function. These leucine-rich repeats form a hydrophobic α/β horseshoe fold, allowing LRRTM1 to engage in essential interactions that influence neuronal differentiation and connectivity. LRRTM1 is primarily expressed in forebrain tissue, where LRRTM1 plays a significant role in the development of forebrain structures by facilitating axon trafficking. Notably, human LRRTM1 shares 96% amino acid identity with mouse LRRTM1, indicating a highly conserved function across species. Defects in the gene encoding LRRTM1 have been implicated in the pathogenesis of several neurodevelopmental disorders, underscoring LRRTM1′s critical role in brain development and function.
