D2DR Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects D2DR of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-D2DR antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. D2DR, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, plays a crucial role in the central nervous system by mediating the effects of dopamine, a key neurotransmitter involved in regulating mood, reward, and motor control. D2DR is primarily located in the brain, particularly in areas such as the striatum and the pituitary gland, where D2DR is essential for modulating neurotransmission and influencing various physiological processes. D2DR signaling has been implicated in several neuropsychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and Parkinson′s disease, as proper functioning is vital. Understanding the localization and function of D2DR is important for developing targeted therapies that can effectively address these conditions.
