AChRα Antibody (D6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects AChRα protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). AChRα Antibody (D6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AChRα protein plays a crucial role in nicotinic acetylcholine receptor function, mediating synaptic transmission at neuromuscular junctions. Nicotinic acetylcholine receptors comprise five subunits forming a transmembrane channel, enabling ion flow in response to acetylcholine binding. AChRα function remains vital for muscle contraction and neuromuscular communication, serving as a key component in both peripheral and central nervous system signaling. AChRα dysregulation or dysfunction can lead to various neuromuscular disorders, highlighting research significance in both basic and clinical settings.
