A-Raf Antibody (1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects A-Raf in mouse, rat, human, and canine samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). A-Raf is a crucial member of the Raf gene family of serine/threonine protein kinases, playing a significant role in regulating cell signaling pathways that control cell growth and differentiation. A-Raf expression is predominantly found in urogenital tissues and kidney, with lower levels in brain, highlighting A-Raf′s importance in tissue-specific signaling mechanisms. A-Raf′s structure includes a kinase domain sharing substantial homology with Raf-1, which is essential for enzymatic activity; however, regulatory elements outside this domain differ, suggesting unique regulatory mechanisms. Understanding A-Raf function and regulation is vital, as dysregulation can lead to various pathologies, including cancer, making A-Raf a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Anti-A-Raf antibody (1) provides a reliable tool for researchers investigating A-Raf′s role in cellular processes and disease implications.
