Ferric choline citrate, also known as choline citrate iron salt, is produced by combining ferric hydroxide with choline dihydrogen citrate. In the context of chemistry and biochemistry, the ferric state of iron is particularly interesting due to its electron configuration, which allows it to participate in various redox reactions.
