QUICK LINKS

Pristane is a hydrocarbon oil adjuvant widely used to induce tumorgenesis in mice and arthritis and lupus nephritis in rats. In BALB/c strain mice, Pristane led to myeloma development when used as an inflammation-inducing agent. In rats, Pristane has been utilized as a rheumatoid arthritis-inducing agent. Additionally, it can work as an adjuvant in the generation of monoclonal antibodies in mouse ascites.
