Trimellitic anhydrid can be used as a substrate for film formation. It is a reactive substance that can be used as an antimicrobial agent. Used as a crosslinking agent in the production of epoxy resins, rubber, and adhesives. It is also used as a precursor in the synthesis of polyimides. Additionally, Trimellitic anhydrid acts as a substrate for titration calorimetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
