QUICK LINKS

Geranyllinalool is an aliphatic genaryl derivative. Geranyllinalool, unlike other genaryl derivatives, showed poor inhibitory activity against carotenoid synthesis in Synechococcus in vitro. Geranyllinalool was identified as a testosterone-dependent volatile compound in the preputial gland of rat Rattus norvegicus. This product is a mixture of isomers.
