Uvaol is a naturally occurring phenolic compound present in numerous plants and fruits, and it belongs to the flavonoid class. Although the exact mechanism of action remains to be elucidated, Uvaol is thought to operate by regulating the activity of various enzymes implicated in inflammation and oxidative stress. Furthermore, Uvaol has demonstrated the ability to inhibit the growth of several cancer cell lines and to suppress the activity of enzymes associated with inflammation and oxidative stress.
