Erucin is a compound that acts as a non-competitive antagonist of the aryl hydrocarbon (Ah) receptor. Erucin, derived from glucoerucin found in arugula and other cruciferous vegetables, is an isothiocyanate. It has demonstrated antioxidant properties, inhibits cell proliferation in cancer cell lines, and induces apoptosis.
