Sanguinarium Chloride, also known as Sanguinarine, is a natural alkaloid compound derived from various plant species within the Sanguinaria genus. It may act to impede the activity of enzymes responsible for DNA, RNA, and protein biosynthesis. Additionally, it disrupts the production of proinflammatory cytokines, thereby modulating the inflammatory response. Furthermore, it suppresses the production of T-cells and B-cells. Although the precise mechanism of action of sanguinarium chloride is not entirely elucidated, it is believed to interact with and inhibit the activity of enzymes involved in DNA, RNA, and protein biosynthesis. Furthermore, sanguinarium chloride has demonstrated the ability to disrupt the production of proinflammatory cytokines, essential molecules involved in inflammatory responses.
