Vmn2r66 Inhibitors

Vmn2r66 can be understood to interact with this protein by intervening in various signaling pathways and cellular processes that are requisite for its function. Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate can activate protein kinase C (PKC), which in turn can phosphorylate downstream proteins that lead to the internalization of Vmn2r66, reducing its presence on the cell surface and thus its activity. On the other hand, the broad-spectrum PKC inhibitor Gö 6983 can prevent this phosphorylation, thereby maintaining the localization and function of Vmn2r66. Staurosporine serves as a non-selective kinase inhibitor that can inhibit several kinases which may phosphorylate proteins that regulate Vmn2r66 activity, thus impeding its function.
