ME2 Inhibitors

ME2 inhibitors comprise a group of chemicals that interact with the metabolic pathways associated with malic enzyme 2 (ME2). These inhibitors do not bind directly to the active site of the enzyme but instead, modulate the enzyme's activity by influencing the concentration of substrates, products, or related metabolic intermediates.
