ASB-2 Activators

ASB-2 activators are a diverse group of chemicals that can indirectly enhance the functional activity of ASB-2 by influencing related pathways or cellular processes. They include compounds that inhibit nuclear export (Leptomycin B), mTOR (Rapamycin), the proteasome (MG132, ALLN, Epoxomicin, Lactacystin), autophagy (Chloroquine, Bafilomycin A1), protein synthesis (Cycloheximide), PI3K (LY294002, Wortmannin), and MEK (PD98059). These compounds generally work by shifting the balance of cellular processes towards protein degradation, which can potentially enhance the function of ASB-2.
