    SEE ALSO...

WNK3 Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects WNK3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WNK3 Antibody (A-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WNK3, a member of the WNK kinase family, plays a crucial role in regulating ion transport and blood pressure by modulating the activity of various ion channels and transporters, particularly in the kidney and brain. This regulation is vital for maintaining electrolyte balance and blood pressure homeostasis, and dysregulation of WNK3 has been linked to conditions such as hypertension and renal disorders. WNK3 is primarily expressed in the brain, where WNK3 influences neuronal signaling and function, and aberrant WNK3 activity can lead to significant physiological consequences. The WNK kinase family, which includes WNK1, WNK2, WNK3, and WNK4, is characterized by a unique structure that allows for specific interactions with ATP, essential for their kinase activity. The catalytic domains of WNK2, WNK3, and WNK4 share a high degree of homology with WNK1, underscoring the evolutionary conservation of their functions. Understanding WNK3 and its interactions within cellular signaling pathways is critical for developing targeted therapies for related diseases.
