V5-Probe抗体（E10）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆V5-Probe抗体（也称为V5-Probe抗体或V5标签抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和IHC(P)检测V5融合蛋白。V5-Probe抗体（E10）为非偶联的抗V5-Probe抗体形式。质粒载体用于在细菌、昆虫和哺乳动物宿主中表达真核基因的编码区是常见的用法；这种表达载体经常用于编码杂交融合蛋白，该融合蛋白由真核靶蛋白和一个专门设计的区域组成，有助于靶蛋白的纯化和可视化。例如，V5-Probe可识别副粘病毒猴病毒5（SV5）的P/V蛋白上的一个小表位Pk。这个小肽已被证明在可视化和免疫亲和纯化表达的融合蛋白方面非常有用。已有20多种重组蛋白（其中一些包括跨膜蛋白和分泌蛋白）被该表位标记，并通过蛋白质印迹、免疫沉淀和免疫荧光进行检测。

At what molecular weight should the band be seen in Western Blot with this antibody?

Thank you for your question. The molecular weight expected varies depending on the fusion protein you are trying to detect, equal to the protein of interest plus the weight of the V5 tag that it is fused to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from blots ok but cross-reacting band problemsSpent a lot of time trying to sort out the specificity of this antibody. We tried to use to look at cell-cell junctions with V5-tagged proteins but it recognized junctions directly (no V5 tagged protein necessary), especially at higher concentrations. In the end we could not use any of the data. On westerns it works ok but has a cross-reacting band around 150K that we wonder might be a junctional protein.
