    SEE ALSO...

Skip Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Skip in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Skip (F-10) antibody recognizes Skip, a unique oncoprotein that plays a critical role in both transformation and differentiation processes within cells. Skip monoclonal antibody (F-10) targets Skip primarily in the nucleus, where Skip interacts with various nuclear hormone receptors and transcription factors, making nuclear localization essential for regulating gene expression. Nuclear presence allows Skip to modulate pathways such as Vitamin D-mediated transcription and TGF-beta signaling, which are vital for cellular differentiation and development. Skip′s interaction with E7, the major transforming protein of human papillomavirus, highlights Skip′s significance in cancer biology, particularly in cervical cancer. Understanding Skip′s nuclear localization helps researchers explore Skip′s role in oncogenic processes and potential therapeutic targets.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using Skip (F-10): sc-393535?

    Asked by: Cweed
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane.
