SH3BGR Antibody (46.1) is a high quality monoclonal SH3BGR antibody (also designated SH3BGR antibody) suitable for the detection of the SH3BGR protein of human origin. SH3BGR Antibody (46.1) is available as the non-conjugated anti-SH3BGR antibody. Proline-rich peptide sequences have been shown to play important roles in protein-protein interactions that occur in signal transduction pathways. SH3 domain binding glutamic acid-rich protein (SH3BGR), also designated 21-glutamic acid-rich protein (21-GARP), is a 239-amino acid protein differentially expressed in heart and skeletal muscle. Its proline-rich region contains the consensus sequence for an SH3-binding domain and its acidic C-terminal region contains a glutamic acid-rich domain which may assume a coiled-coil structure. SH3BGR may be part of a multimeric complex, as it contains 2 functional domains involved in protein-protein interactions. The SH3BGR gene maps proximal to HMG14 on chromosome 21q22.3.

Can sc-100853: SH3BGR (46.1) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?
Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100853: SH3BGR (46.1) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here:
